Technical recommendations

The conference presentation platform will be ZOOM. Instructions for uploading as well as recording the presentation can be found on the Ferro 13th website.  In order to minimize and eliminate any technical difficulties during remote and online live presentations, we are strongly recommending two options:

 Option A. It is highly desirable that speakers pre-record their presentation on ZOOM (maximum duration is 17 minutes) and submit it to the conference site no later than Sunday, June 13th, 2021.

 Option B. Send/upload copy of the PPT slides of your presentation and plan to do it remotely/live.  Please submit an electronic copy of your PPT file no later than June 13th, 2021.

 Both options are possible although Option A is strongly recommended.

Do not hesitate to install the up-to-date Zoom Client if your computer proposes it.

We recommend to check that you have a video player on your computer. If you don’t, we recommend to download an up-to-date version of VLC media player (free of charge).

The recommended web browser to be able to use the different tools is Google Chrome (up-to-date version).

We recommend you try to have the best internet connection to follow the live sessions and watch the videos.

If you are a live presenter, we recommend you ensure you have a high quality internet connection. The use of a micro headset is recommended.
